How to Get Twitch Drops: a Step-by-Step Guide
Updated
What Twitch Drops are
Twitch Drops are in-game rewards that developers grant for watching streams of their game. Each campaign has dates, a reward list and the watch time required for every reward.
Step 1. Link your game account
Most campaigns require linking your Twitch account to the game account under Connections. Without it, progress counts but the reward can't be claimed.
Step 2. Watch Drops-enabled streams
Only channels participating in the campaign count — they are marked with Drops in the title or tags. Watch time adds up. If you watch manually, stay on the stream tab: in the background, watching may not count.
Step 3. Claim the reward
Once the required time is reached, confirm the reward in your Twitch inventory. Keep in mind that every campaign has an end date.
How to automate it
With several accounts, tracking campaigns by hand gets hard. PeakRiseDrops does it on our servers: picks eligible streams, counts minutes and claims rewards by itself. Current campaigns are in the Drops catalog.
